First, if you have not already, kindly review this thread for an examination, both moral and social, on the question of racial intermarriage. Today, few questions are as contentious as this one, yet nearly every attempt to address it, whether one is generally for or against it, is done in a manner that is unserious and emotionally charged. A big claim, perhaps, but see for yourself…
Now, let the thought-experiment begin.
Do you love White people?
If the White races (American, German, French, English, etc.) are not allowed to habitually express and act on their natural desire to marry their own—using only moral means—by custom, manners and attitude, they will simply go extinct. To marry outside your race, as a general practice, is to embark on racial suicide. Put negatively, it means stigmatizing racial intermarriage with Asians or Blacks.
Do you love Black people?
If the Black races (American Black, Nigerian, Zimbabwean, Ethiopian, etc.) are not allowed to habitually express and act on their natural desire to marry their own—using only moral means—by custom, manners and attitude, they will simply go extinct. To marry outside your race, as a general practice, is to embark on racial suicide. Put negatively, it means stigmatizing racial intermarriage with Whites or Asians.
Do you love Asian people?
If the Asian races (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Singaporean, etc.) are not allowed to habitually express and act on their natural desire to marry their own—using only moral means—by custom, manners and attitude, they will simply go extinct. To marry outside your race, as a general practice, is to embark on racial suicide. Put negatively, it means stigmatizing racial intermarriage with Whites or Blacks.
Reflection
If you took issue with only the first case, you do not love White people or want them to exist, objectively. This ought to bring concern and shame. In an inconsistent way, you are demonizing principles you would admit as legitimate, likely celebrating, for the other races. Black fathers are, rightfully, portrayed as worthy of admiration and having a healthy racial feeling when they instruct their daughters to marry good, God-fearing Black men. Black people are right to discourage one another from marrying outside their kind, in a noble love of being Black and to preserve their race and culture. Repeat the same sentences, only replacing “Black” with “White” and few would dare utter it in public. Friends, family and your job are likely at risk. This kind of healthy racism only becomes sinful, the bad racism, when employed by a White person. Decades of demoralization and moral intimidation have done their job. Today, tragically, nearly every White person admits the moral legitimacy of the latter two cases while nearly-universally denying the first, along with a not insignificant (perhaps the majority?) number of Blacks and Asians. An intolerable double-standard, making what is moral exclusively dependent on one’s race. For honest and consistent actors, however, all three cases are morally legitimate.

In reality, distinct races exist. The human family is comprised of various groups or races of men, arising through common ancestry and heritable dispositions. The races are also linked by shared physical, intellectual and psychological characteristics, which are distinct—generally speaking—from every other race. The diversity of the races is present to enrich mankind. Each is tasked, according to their ability and gifts, to give Glory to God and His Church. Race, while important and a natural good, is not the most important thing. It is a relative good and is important only to this life. That said, the opposite extreme is also to be avoided and this error is much more prevalent today. This deficient view is characterized by one or a combination of the following: 1) denying the existence of distinct races, 2) obscuring the truth that race is a fundamental value of the human community, 3) making it entirely an abstract concept or 4) failing to appreciate collective differences between races. These do not line up with practical experience and common sense.

Every race, importantly, can trace itself back to our first parents, Adam and Eve. The groups themselves, though different and unequal in many ways, whether spiritual faculties, intelligence, natural ability or civilizing potential, are—in the most important aspects—unified. Every individual person, regardless of what race he may belong to, is essentially equal, insofar as he is made in the image of God with a common destiny and purpose. Jesus Christ died for men of all nations, races and tongues. As Father Constantinus O.F.M. outlined in his 1935 study, Catholicism and the Race Question, “If Christ the God-man is the ideal image of the Christian, this does not mean that there are no ties of blood and affinity, from nation to nation, from race to race, from government and subjects, from citizens to the dear soil of the fatherland. On the contrary, all these individual and collective relations find their higher perfection through the Christian experience of the virtues of the individual, race, nation and state, and which all have their ideal image in the human and divine perfections of the God-man Jesus Christ.”
What is needed today is a return to moral principles, particularly for White Americans. It is about making a moral case, first and foremost, daring anyone to challenge what are clear and legitimate claims. Importantly, claims that are consistent with Christian teaching and philosophy. The argument must begin with morality. Racial liberalism deracinates society with its [counter] morality, to defend ourselves we must employ the same moral principles. The only difference is that ours are true and theirs are false, ours our good and theirs are evil. What liberals admit to Black people and deny to Whites, we Christians admit for both. If Black people can have legitimate pride in their race and culture, who is to deny the same to the White man?
This inconsistency of liberal morality is only matched by its contempt for the White races, all the more dangerous when it is thinly veiled and verbally denied. America is a White country, meaning it has a distinct European character and ought to remain that way. Yes, there are Black Americans and there are Asian Americans, yet its core demographic is White people and their culture. The rights and interests of the minority races need to be secured, but so do the rights of the White majority. It is a crude, backwards country that would tolerate the pursuit of minority rights at the expense of the majority. Consider a family of ten being ruled by the interests of the lone daughter. Who would say this is reasonable?
In America, it is racist to want to live around White people, in a White neighborhood and have your kids grow up around people that look, think and generally are like you—so we must get comfortable being called that. There is no sense in denying what is reasonable and morally sound. You can call us racist, if you like. In an Asian country, the Asian mother loses no sleep over wanting the same. She would not change her mind if she were called a racist, nor breathlessly remind people she does not hate other races.
The answer is not racial hatred or prejudice against the other, both of which are immoral, irrational and betray a severe absence of Christian charity. Though we have lost our great patrimony it is still recoverable. Difficult, certainly, but we must try—our people and very identity are at stake.
America needs Christ and His Church, and White people need to regain their moral courage.
