These are the things to expect when subscribing to The Journal of American Reform.
Following the motto and program laid out by Pope St. Pius X Omnia instaurare in Christo, to “restore all things in Christ”, we are dedicated to doing just that — with a specific focus on the American political order. Along with this restoration, we categorically reject the plea made to “Liberal Catholics” who, not content to remain uncompromising and face persecution, would rather relinquish the duties of the State towards God and His Catholic religion, asking for nothing other than simple freedom. Unlike our ancestors, American Integralism tirelessly works for the corporate conversion of the State, Family and all subsidiary institutions to the sweet yoke of Jesus Christ and His Social Kingship.
Doubtless, some readers are from outside the U.S., yet the principles that underlie this project are still applicable. That is the beauty of Catholic political philosophy: it is true, timeless and universal.

In addition to publishing at The Journal, we have popularized the creation and use of edits — sometimes called infographics — to spread our ideas. Unlike many you see today, the ones we publish are fully-sourced, clear and presented in a way to give the viewer context. Perhaps you have seen the below format circulating online?
Official Crest
Completed in 2026, our crest is designed to embody our project and the progressive vision we are advancing. In the face of almost insurmountable odds, a new American “founding”, which is to say the spiritual and corporate conversion of our families, government and public institutions by way of a counterrevolutionary elite aided by the common man. Seemingly impossible in human terms but “with God all things are possible” (Matt. XIX, 26).
Regardless, as Catholics, this program is the right thing to pursue in principle and remains obligatory, whatever point in the history of the Church Militant we may find ourselves.
The Design Elements
- Most importantly, the Papal Cross in the eagle’s talon and Regal Cross atop the crown of same represent the Social Kingship of Our Lord Jesus Christ in which the State is subordinated to the Catholic Church
- The shield hearkens back to the original America First movement, specifically as embodied by Father Charles Coughlin
- The two large stars on the shield represent the original, Catholic colonization of what would later become America, by the French and Spanish empires
- The thirteen smaller stars on the shield represent the Anglo-British colonies, which formed the racial backbone of our country
- The fasces, which has storied usage in American iconography, symbolizes order, authority and Romanity
- The heraldic eagle is simultaneously tied to our country’s national symbol and German imperial might
Translation Note
Published on The Journal you will find many translated texts that have never been seen in the English-speaking world, mainly from Latin, French, German and Spanish. In order to accomplish this, we use translation software — principally, Google Translate and Claude by Anthropic — which we carefully and manually review to ensure coherence and fidelity to the original language.
We believe the translations to be both credible and respectable given the sophistication of modern technology, otherwise they would not be fit to publish. That said, they are not to be considered official, academic translations of the original texts.
